RW  BELFRY GOSSIP - Mr. Denis A. Bayles celebrated his coming of age as a peal ringer with a peal at Embleton, Northumberland, the most northerly ring of six bells in England. This was the first peal on the bells since recent rehanging.

DandNDA Annual Meeting In Newcastle 
A company of over 70 members and friends sat down to tea in the Cathedral Library and the business meeting followed the tea.
The president, Mr. K. Arthur, expressed his pleasure at seeing such a good representative gathering, which included the Vicar of Embleton and his fellow ringers, probably the first-ever from Embleton to attend an annual meeting.
